What's black and white and rode all over? If you ask Bill Turner, a former horse-racing trainer from England, it's Zebedee, the pet zebra he rides to his local pub. Turner, who has over 30 years of training experience, told the U.K.'s Racing Post, "I have broken hundreds of horses over the years, and always wanted to try my hand with a zebra, but they are very hard to get hold of."
He eventually found Zebedee at a game preserve in Holland and learned to ride him in two weeks. Turner is waiting to sell the zebra until he can ensure the animal is safe to pass on.
Until then, he'll continue to ride Zebedee to grab a pint at the pub, where the only predators he has to watch out for are cougars.
