While reading a "Highlights of Sarah Palin's Trip to New York" top 10 list, David Letterman suggested the Alaska Governor had "bought makeup at Bloomingdale's to update her slutty flight attendant look."

Some commentators have called Dave out, arguing that he treated Palin differently than he would other female politicians with this quip. And now Palin has responded, labeling Letterman "pathetic" for demeaning a trip which included a stop at a fundraiser for autistic kids.

Since dressing like a slutty flight attendant and helping autistic kids are both causes we can get behind, we're not sure what to think. But we suspect some of you might have more fully formed opinions on any double standard the media does or doesn't apply to Sarah Palin.
