Oh, America, land of the bravely effeminate lawsuit. Brooklynite Sean McGinn is getting in on the national pastime by suing Match.com for unspecified damages. His reason? Not telling him whether or not somebody maybe kinda likes him.
Non-paying members of Match show up in a search as potential dates, but can't initiate contact if they don't pay a subscription fee. Sean alleges that this is legally a "deceptive practice" and thinks that showing members matches who cannot reply to them causes "humiliation and disappointment."
We sense that if he loses this case there will be even more "humiliation and disappointment" in his future.
