Michael Bluth Constantly Rips on Ann, "Arrested Development"
Though he strived to be a good father, Michael showed his Bluth family colors by constantly insulting George Michael's plain-Jane girlfriend, Ann. His reaction upon seeing her far more attractive mother still makes us giggle. He'd never say they could be sisters.

Liam Neeson Tortures a Guy For His Daughter, "Taken"
If you did a "most commonly used phrase" search in the screenplay for "Taken," it's safe to say "Where's my daughter?" would come out on top. Neeson kicks down doors, crashes cars and breaks several Geneva Conventions, all in the search for his missing daughter. And though she's going to be imminently sold into sex slavery, Neeson still has time to slowly torture a thug for information. Any dad who will electrocute a random Albanian for his daughter deserves something nicer than yet another golf-themed tie on Father's Day.

Tony Whacks a Guy on Meadow's College Road Trip, "The Sopranos"
"The Sopranos" was really more about family than it was crime, and the best episodes mixed heartwarming parental moments with murder and mayhem. One of our favorite episodes found Tony using Meadow's innocent college-visiting road trip as an opportunity to strangle a stool pigeon. Oh, Tony. Is there any place you won't whack a rat?

Clark Griswold Takes John Candy Hostage, "National Lampoon's Vacation"
Clark's quest for the perfect family vacation comes to a head when he takes Wally World security guard Russ Lasky hostage with a BB gun in order to gain access to the park. A testament to nutty dads everywhere, Clark's breakdown is sheer brilliance, from his expletive-laden rant to his insistence that everyone ride the Wally World roller coaster like a nice happy family. Homer Gets Maggie Caught In a Newspaper Vending Machine, "The Simpsons"
You could fill a whole list with great Homer parenting moments, but one of the funniest has to be when everyone's favorite simpleton dad accidentally gets Maggie stuck in a newspaper dispenser after spotting the headline "Senator Helms Proposes Donut Tax." Being Homer, he takes care of newspaper Maggie just as he would regular Maggie -- haphazardly.
