While it's true that the Internet allows you to access all sorts of on-screen nudity anytime you want, the pre-World Wide Web kid in us still appreciates a good movie nude scene, especially when that scene involves a famous actress.

Recently Mr. Skin began counting down the best 100 celebrity nude scenes of all time. While we obviously couldn't wait to take this flesh-filled trip down memory lane, it also got as thinking as to what exactly makes or breaks a celebrity nude scene. After the jump, we debate the factors that comprise award-worthy movie nudity.



How much skin the actress shows
While we appreciate that Anna Faris showed a little bit of tush in the "House Bunny," it's nothing compared when French beauty Eva Green gave us an up-close look at everything in Bernardo Bertolucci "The Dreamers."

How hot the actress is
Granted, clothed hotness and naked hotness aren't exactly the same thing, but you still probably didn't watch "About Schmidt" because you heard Kathy Bates was naked in it.
How long the nude scene is
Would you have even considered watching "Swordfish" if you thought the camera was going to only give you a fleeting glance at Halle Barry's breasts?

How unexpected the nudity is
If you go to see a Kate Winslet film, you can be pretty sure you are going to got a look at the actress's naughty bits. But did you know Molly Ringwald, who barely showed calf during her reign as America's teen queen, allows an unobstructed view of her breasts in 1996's Malicious? Ducky would be very, very disappointed.
What is going on in the scene
Usually seeing Drew Barrymore's birthday suit would make for pleasant viewing. But seconds after this shot taken from "Doppelganger," the shower head spews blood all over her nude body. On the other hand, covering Denise Richards' nude body in Neve Campbell was what made "Wild Things" a timeless classic.
