When we were kids, toys were all about inspiring creativity and childlike wonder. These days, some toys inspire different kinds of feelings ... tingly feelings. While we're ashamed to admit our strange attraction to hunks of plastic, some of the toys we've collected here seem designed to elicit such shameful desires.
What happened to sturdy, sexless Shera or the modestly dressed pink Power Ranger? Sure, Cheetara was sexy, but she had some self-respect. While we certainly appreciate the following toys on an aesthetic level, we can't help but wonder if toys have actually gotten too hot.
Check out a few of the more ... intriguing toys and action figures that we found. What do you think? Can toys actually be too sexy?

no one is saying they are sexually attracted to the doll, but massive perked up boobs or 5% clothing are not necessary on a childs toy.

No, but little kids should not be seeing some double D boobs and a girl with half of her body covered. No one is saying they want to be with a doll or anything.

many of these "toys" are actually highly detailed adult collectables, for those interested in the actual movie series or any/all merchandise associated with it.
however, some still always fall into the hands of children, so some common sense should be used, also.
however, i agree that if someone is sexually attracted to a toy, they need to get a life -- or at least a significant other

If someone is sexually attracted to a doll, he is too mentally unbalanced to have a significant other. He needs to see a shrink more than anything else.

Control what your kids see. Kids do not dress like these dolls, the parents allow to dress like that. Next time the little Princess starts to howl about needing your whole paycheck for something totally unnecessaryt, give them the "when my parents grew up during the Depression" stories...maybe if you brought them up right, they'll expect less from you. Kids...give them an apple and tell them to go read.

ANATOMICALLY CORRECT DOLLS HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR CENTURIES, BUT I DO BELIEVE ALOT SHOULD BE LEFT TO THE CHILDS IMAGINATION RATHER THAN GIVING THEIR IMAGINATION SO MUCH TO THINK ABOUT....THEIR IS AN APPROPRIATE PLACE IN OUR SOCIETY FOR "SEXY" DOLLS, IT JUST ISN'T IN OUR CHILDRENS TOY BOXES. (THANKS FOR READING THIS!!:)

Your absolutely right. And it's up to us parents to control what our children see or play with.

my sisters Barbies were naked more often than clothed. That did hurt my imagination. we need to stop thinking every thing will poison a childs mind. let the parents decide if the kids should be exposed and how much

"Toys" is the wrong word to use.. These aren't toys..these are more like collector pieces. They're usually characters from games or anime made into figures for collecting purposes.. I wouldn't trust any of these items to anyone under the age of 18 anyways.. Sure, they're sexy.. but they're usually copying the original art to a T.. And they're target audiences are usually men between the ages or 20 - 35.. of course its going to show some appeal..but toys? come on.. grow up.

this will never be able to consider toys any parent handing this to a child would be consider irresponsible. This Figures are to be kept in shelves for observation purposes. Thats what they are collectibles made by artist that is why they are so detailed.

Really... if you're going to complain that badly about collector's figures whose target demographic is teen to adult men, then stop looking at them. They're not toys. They're collectables. Some people collect these like they'd collect stamps, or shot glasses.
For crying out loud, if you're going to write an article, do your research.

wow this is just rediculous. these people need to learn the difference between toys and collectors items or fan shwag. toys are something meant to be played with, ie legos or action figures or puzzles. not these "sexy toys" however. no, these are not toys at all. these posable dolls and pvc figurines are meant for the more mature fans of certain franchises(i say mature because these people are clearly mature enough to know what a toy actually is). and besides the fact the people buying these are more mature fans, the franchises themselves are meant for people of that age group. tell me when lara croft or the fantastic four were originally intended for young children and i will stop typing. and whats more is that these "sexy toys" are sold in places where children shouldnt even consider wanting to go to buy their playthings. these things are sold in specialty video game and comic stores that cater to adult fans (not adult as in perverted so dont even think about going there) and not toys r us. please, for the love of the real fans, next time you want to gripe about something in a publc news article or whatever you would like to call this. do some research or even just ask a buddy. I'm sure you have some serious nerd friends somewhere. I'm done ranting here...

Excellent point! Yes, I'm a collector myself and those are collectible items NOT TOYS! And if we are going to think about moral then look closely to the music, cartoons (Like The Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, etc) Aired on prime time on regular television completely easy to acces to those children the author of this article claim to care about! How about all the other TV shows (True Blood), Movies (Transformers II The scene with the girl in Daisy Duke's shorts!!!) and music that only promotes sex, drugs and disrespectful manners!!!

This is just the beginning , they already have human robots in Japan and it won't belong before we have fully functioning sexbots. No more unwanted pregnancies or STD's, no alimony or divorce courts. Completely guilt free ,uninhibited sexual pleasure. Ah , isn't technology great ? !!!!
