Ryan Reynolds must be doing something right. The 32-year-old has gone from appearing in the sub-"Friends" 20-something comedy "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" to being a proper Hollywood star. More impressively, he's the husband of perhaps the most beautiful actress in the world, Scarlett Johannson.
Just as he has successfully expanded his acting repertoire beyond goofy comedy (and his dating repertoire beyond Alanis Morrisette), the Canadian has also evolved a suave, well-cut personal style that flatters his lanky frame.
At the L.A. premiere for "The Proposal
" -- a painful-looking new rom-com starring Reynolds and Sandra Bullock -- the actor looked classy in a slim-cut tan suit and sweater vest combination. Since our esteem for his achievement of becoming Mr. Johannson makes amends for Reynolds' decision to appear in this film, we decided to offer up a version of the timeless warm-weather get-up.
See how to score Reynolds' threads, after the jump.
It may not be the number one item in an average dude's closet but, if you can afford it, a crisp yet elegantly rumpled beige suit makes an amazing addition to a sophisticated summer wardrobe. ($332 from BergdorfGoodman.com

Done correctly, a sweater vest -- like the slim-fit, complementary-hued number sported by Reynolds, can break up a conventional suit look and give it an old-world, country-gent vibe. ($69 from ThomasPink.com

Reynolds' scuffed, hard-worn brown boots add a relaxed, professorial flavor to what otherwise might have been an overly stylized outfit. ($68 from UrbanOutfitters.com
