Apparently, if you're from the land down under, you're increasingly likely to have felt the physical manifestation of feminine wrath. The New South Wales Bureau of Crime Statistics figures show that over the past eight years, the number of women charged with domestic abuse has rocketed by 159 percent, from 800 to 2,336.
But even in America, it seems like women get away with an awful lot of physical violence that would never fly if a man did it. Whether it's slapping, punching, kicking or the throwing of large, heavy objects, most of the male staff of Asylum has experienced some violence at the hands of an angry girlfriend.
Sure, (most) women are less likely to cause serious damage, but does that make boyfriend abuse acceptable? And since you can't exactly fight back, what are you supposed to do if your lady starts whaling on you?
Leave us your tales of abuse by the fairer sex in the comments.

sexual equality today is a lie.
I mean, how can women be equal to men when they always get special treatments and men are supposed to play nice..
for women to be rightfully equal to men, they must also experience sh@t men do everyday

Being a Benny Hill fan, I groped a girl when I was in the sixth grade and let me tell you, she made me pay for it with a heavy barrage of blows called a windmill. Because of where I was standing, I had nowhere to go to evade her wrath. So to answer your question, Yes, I’ve been hit by a girl and it hurt.

Its complete bs...its just that we live in a nation who has been through so much social change in the last 100 years...people are to scared to openly step on some ones toes. Why dont we send women to prison more often for hitting men. Do men not reaquire the protection of the law? There should be no double standard in this nation. I will go onto say what people should say. Women who hit men, are just as guilty as a man. Whether its for any reason. If a man wishes to press charges, it is no business of the officers to deny his rights. No one questions a women when she says she has been hit. It suddenly becomes fact and not just suggestion or spculation. I have spent 2 nights in jail, and 18 months of my life in probation for a crime i never commited. All based on the sexist views of this nation. There was no real investigation, no real questioning, just the fact that she SAID i hit her, and had a few tears. where was my justice. I was told by the officer in these exact words "We didnt find any signs of domestic violence, but your going to jail tonight anyway
". We need to have our eyes opened to all the sugar coated discrimination we so passionately nurture day by day.

Why would women want to be equal with men? That would mean to give up their superiority. Women don't want to be equal with men, because they are superior to men. And yes, men deserve a good whipping from their women at times, it keeps them in check.

Very well said, goddess1. I do admit that is not fair for the men who do absolutely NOTHING wrong, but who cares? Men deserve to be punched in the face, and if they even have balls, then punch them there.

Women are superior. They've got the whole world by the balls. Behind the most powerful men there is a woman manipulating and controlling his every move. The law bends to their will and has convinced them that they need to be taken care of. As soon as technology enables them to have children (females) without the need of a man we men will be finished. It's a woman's world.....

You and your fellow misandrists have my pity. Humans are equal and should never be deemed 'lesser' due to gender, religion, or color. Violence is never acceptable, whether it is perpetrated by a male or female. Self-defense is, obviously, but never petty violence. Additionally, you would do well to pick a better screen name for yourself. A goddess is typically imbued with wisdom, yet your superior, hate-mongering attitude shows nothing but ignorance.
I am a woman, and I understand that men are not 'the enemy'. Hatred and ignorance should be fought instead. Do not try to build yourself up and feel superior by dissing an entire group of people. It simply unveils insecurity and weakness. Admitting flaws, weaknesses, etc. and working to improve them shows far more strength than a facade of perfection ever will.
Honestly, with the unhealthy level of pride I see posted on these boards it's no wonder so many people end up in highly dysfunctional relationships. People in general are heavily flawed, and you'll find beautiful individuals from both genders.
I would never raise a hand to my man in anger. As a survivor of child abuse, it is quite clear to me that violence is never the solution, nor should it be tolerated!

Its a balance battle.
Its like Men are the warrior type, brawn, aggression, blah blah.
and women are...the seductive spy type (wanted to say mage, but withheld for sounding too much like a gamer)
what i mean to say is that men and women are NOT equal, but neither is any inferior to any other. Will you ever see a man opening a door for some other man? Hell, not even gay men do that.
Will you ever see a female...err...getting seduced by a man...err...flexing a lot of muscle? rarely.
You get my drift!

Although it is true that women do get away with such things as throwing heavy objects, punching, slapping, and kicking, it doesn't mean its any better if the response for that happening is to retaliate. Not all women act this way and not only that, all this is decided by the upbringing most women had. So yes, women should be as equal as men, but where do you think women got their superiority complex from?
