Required reading from the week in books.

"How the Beatles Destroyed Rock n' Roll" has an intriguing title that is sure to anger earnest Lennon/McCartney fans. Ringo haters should pick it up post-haste.
Frank Miller's "All-Star Batman and Robin" is finally out in softcover, a far cheaper format that befits its ridiculousness. If nothing else, it brought "I'm the g-ddamn Batman!" into the popular lexicon.
Finally warming up to "True Blood" with last week's season premiere? Check out the complete set of the Sookie Stackhouse novels that inspired the show. You'll have to supply the over-the-top Southern accents yourself.
While "The Essential Doctor Strange Vol. 4" isn't as crazy as the early Lee/Ditko volumes, it does feature a story by the reliably stylish Howard Chaykin and plenty of Brother Voodoo action. You can't go wrong with Brother Voodoo.
