LightLane is attempting to fix the fact that most towns don't have bike lanes lining their roads. Their genius solution is a portable LED and laser system that will project a bike lane around you, as well as the little cyclist graphic, which we hope you can eventually customize with a Flying Spaghetti Monster. They're looking at a $50 retail price once it's in production. Of course, our model rider in the picture isn't wearing a helmet, which might go slightly further in protecting the gray matter than lasers.
You can watch a proof-of-concept video, after the jump.
