Emperial Nation, a clothing company "inspired by history," recently announced the Aristocrat Polo. It's a black cotton shirt featuring a design inspired by one of history's most fashionable execution devices -- the guillotine.

Our only problem with this polo is the price. At an aristocratically ironic 20-percent-off price of $68, the polo may only be affordable to the upper classes -- the same folks who would have gotten a good head-chopping during the French Revolution. And let's face it, for $70 you could feed three American Apparel models for a week.

Still, if you've got the dough, they're pretty cool. We're hoping Emperial Nation will branch out with polos featuring a whole group of medieval weapons, like a good old-fashioned trebuchet or the iron maiden.
