Those people who are bad talking Billy Mays and Michael Jackson are forgetting that they are people with families and people who care about them. The old adage: "Don't speak ill of the dead" should really come in to play here. We should respect them for the human beings they were regardless of the so called "trivial" lives they lived. Obviously they had faults, but who doesn't, and people are simply seeing them as the television persona they were. Let's remember they were people with emotions and souls like the rest of us.
