A new study has shown having a beer belly is predominately the result of genetics.German and Swedish researchers tracked 20,625 people for over eight years and found that even though regular beer drinkers weighed more, their fat didn't necessarily amass unevenly around the gut.
In fact, increases in hip-to-waist ratio were randomly spread out among all drinking groups, leading to the conclusion that it is genetics -- not a certain way in which excess calories are accumulated -- that leads to a beer belly.
Meaning those with a stomach that can double as a TV tray didn't earn this luxury through dedicated beer pounding, but rather just won the genetic lottery.

a matter of fact beer dosn't cause beer farts, it is proven that methane gases cause them. The bad smell comes from peanut oil extractions inside the small intestines, or so i over herd this old wrinkled up woman tell an old drunk guy in a alley yesterday. My wife says i have a beer belly but i only drink 3 six-packs per day.
