Anyone who has spent time overseas knows that advertisements in the rest of the English-speaking world tend to be more in-your-face than the ones back home.
A perfect example is this PSA from New Zealand, a highway billboard which features a boy whose face bleeds when it rains, ostensibly to remind motorists to adjust to the weather conditions.
While the ad agency that created the billboard claims there hasn't been a traffic fatality since it went up
, we find it hard to believe such a disturbing (and realistic) image wouldn't also cause dangerous rubber-necking.
