Anyone who has spent time overseas knows that advertisements in the rest of the English-speaking world tend to be more in-your-face than the ones back home.
A perfect example is this PSA from New Zealand, a highway billboard which features a boy whose face bleeds when it rains, ostensibly to remind motorists to adjust to the weather conditions.
While the ad agency that created the billboard claims there hasn't been a traffic fatality since it went up, we find it hard to believe such a disturbing (and realistic) image wouldn't also cause dangerous rubber-necking.
After the jump, check out the video and decide for yourself.

We need this billboard in the USA.
Shocking, yes...but that's just what we need.
A slap in the face by reality. :)

We do not need this in America. It is pretty creppy that we have a Billboard that bleeds.

People always need to check the driving behavior, but will they? This sign wont do much, its like telling an alcoholic to quit drinking, they just cant change,,, but death stops them from doing it again,,,

This is a brilliant billboard! If it made one cavalier driver "squirm" a little and think a little - after speeding along a wet, rainy highway, it did it's job. Stupidity has it's consequences and that's what it shows. My compliments to the creative team, ad agency and client.

In recent times, I've watched a patient come out from physical therapy, get inside his car, drive away tipping a 40 ouncer in a brown paper bag. How low is that?

Sherry, Sounds like you may be in a position to HELP this person? If not, it sounds like they DO NEED (want)HELP. Any chance U can call someone else?
