During the Bill Clinton years, we thought we had all gotten pretty good at finding euphemistic ways to express the act of tonsil-jousting that led to Bubba's impeachment. Apparently, Firedoglake's Marcy Wheeler lost that particular memo yesterday, as she let the real deal (rhymes with slowgob) fly during an appearance on MSNBC.

What I love most about this clip is host David Shuster's flustered chagrin at the offense, especially in light of his infamous, fully-scripted treatise on "tea-bagging" and Dick Armey. Second place goes to Matt Lewis for plowing straight ahead as though nothing happened.

In honor of Wheeler's outburst, we present her mouthy moment, along with some of our other favorite NSFW live news videos after the jump.

What do you think? Is it OK to say the "beej" word on the news?

George Carlin Said Anything Can Be Funny

If you're Fox News's Jane Skinner and Shepard Smith, that includes the murder of Afghani policemen. File Shep's needling away for future reference.

How Is That Even Possible?

That same Shepard Smith blows it in this clip, as he suggests that J-Lo's fans are more likely to give her a curb job, than a ... wait, what the hell is a curb job?

Thank You, Captain Obvious

Like Marcy Wheeler, this next panelist just forgets that you can't talk like a grownup on TV, as she points out something we had already noticed about Sarah Palin.

World's Fastest Backpedal

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough drops an f-bomb in this clip, then attempts a Jedi mind trick that only works on himself.

Take Cover

Here's Shep Smith again, this time nearly losing it on the subject of torture. Ironically, I was convinced Shep was about to start using "enhanced techniques" on his guest's windpipe. Also, watch for the priceless "Oops."

Come Again?

This is our favorite clip. Megyn Kelly starts things off weird, creating dead air with a popular movie quotes quiz, then makes her co-host crap his pants. Who doesn't love a pretty girl with a dirty mouth?
