A Wienermobile crashed into a home in Racine, Wisc., on Friday, lodging itself into the garage the same way Oscar Mayer products have lodged themselves into the hearts of so many Americans over the years.

According to witnesses, the hot dog-shaped vehicle took a wrong turn down a dead-end street and pulled into a driveway to turn around.

Police Chief Tim Zarzecki said the 22-year-old woman behind the wheel accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and slammed into the house, cracking the foundation. No one was injured and a company spokesperson vowed to fix the damage.

The accident is being called the most unfortunate event at Oscar Mayer since the introduction of Olive Loaf in 1918. Check out the (amazing) news video after the jump and count the hot dog puns.
