"World of Warcraft," the insanely popular MMORPG that has more subscribers than some third-world countries have citizens, has also been optioned for a film. Admittedly, that was years ago and it's been sitting in a corner doing nothing since then -- until today, when Sam Raimi signed on as the director. Rumored to take place between "Warcraft 3" and "World of Warcraft," the movie's geek cred and legit film cred just went through the roof, as did the likelihood that Ted Raimi ends up king of Stormwind and Bruce Campbell (pictured here) will uses his boomstick to lay waste to some dirty trolls before dropping trou and dancing nude inside an auction house whilst begging for gold.
