think about what you're doing. In this case the guy had very little tie to make a decision. With that little time it's all about instinct. Sorry to tell ya guys and girls instincts work a little differently. You most likely would have turned your head, got knocked out by the ball, then fell lifelessly onto your child, possibly suffocating him.

Not to mention the fact that if the ball had hit that child in the head, we'd have people all over the place screaming about how stupid the father was for trying to catch a baseball while holding his toddler in his arm. But he made the catch, so people are screaming "HOW COOL!" instead. I swear, most people don't appear to have the brains God gave a turnip, and their critical thinking skills are even worse. There is NOTHING about this clip that is "cool"...any miscalculation on the dad's part and you have had a dead baby and an abusive father incarcerated for his death. Wake up sheeple!

As the humorist Dave Berry once wrote (and I'm paraphrasing)in explaining the difference between men and women, if there was a softball game going on and a child was in difficulty the woman would instinctively leave her position in the field to assit the child without first even stopping to consider if there were men on base or not.

Difference between this and the michael jackson situation is pretty big, one he's not hanging him off of a 4 story balcony with that 1 arm, two he's not trying to use the kid to swing that ball back into field, the kid got nowhere near the ball there was no danger you can't compare him to michael jackson... unless he was touching the child inappropriately, AWWWW TOO SOON?
