When we first saw that Domino's was doing its part to celebrate President Barack Obama's birthday with free Chocolate Lava Crunch Cake today, we were proud of the drab pizza chain for finally stepping out of the shadow of Pizza Hut. But the more we thought about it, the more we began to wonder, how come Domino's isn't giving away pizza, its signature product? Or pasta bowls, its other signature? Instead, they're giving away CHOCOLATE cake. Look Domino's, we all know Obama is black. Does that mean the guy can't enjoy some delicious Cinna Stix?

I don't necessarily agree witht he way the Harvard Professor's situation was handled on any account; however I can state that if I had just returned from a vacation to find I was locked out of my own house, I would have been pissed no doubt. Now add to that being tired, locked out of your own house (embarassing enough), have a neighbor call the cops on you and then a cop who supposedly has training to calm situations only exacerbates the matter by not diffusing the situtation, but by being hostile. Come on now anyone may be a bit hyper in these situations and the cop should have just laughed it off and gone away when he saw it truly was the man's home. Everyone was wrong and it was quite overblown just as everything is to sell media hype.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't think anything racial of this but after seeing all the hate being spewed against this president, I have to entertain that chocolate cake maybe in the same category as Republicans sending out cards with watermelons growing on the WH lawn, and showing up with big guns at venues where the President is speaking. Never in my life have I seen such an open threat being allowed against a president. Never in my life have I seen a president being hounded to provide a birth certificate and when he does they say it's fake. Then they make up their own obviously and stupidly fake one to validate their hateful lies. So, given all that, this company can take their chocolate cake and eat it!
