If you've ever cursed your own lack of efficiency, dubious science is here to let you know why you can't get anything done. According to a recent survey, men spend up to 45 minutes a day, which adds up to 11 days a year, just staring at women.

That might seem like a lot, but in fairness there are 24 hours in a day, so on average you're only devoting 1/32 of your day to ogling. In contrast, you're apt to spend 20 percent of your work day slacking off, or up to 1.7 hours. And those aren't the only time-wasters likely to eat up more daylight than simply staring at ladyfolk:

-- YouTube will give you over 70,000 results if you search for "hit in the balls" meaning you could very easily spend the entire rest of your week doing nothing but watching groin injuries.

-- For the more hands-on, you can literally spend days exploring the expanding content of "Fallout 3," or waiting for the new Warcraft patch to go live to give access to new instances sure to further distance you from real-world friends and loved ones.

-- The movie "Predator" has a run time of 107 minutes. Watch it again, it's awesome. Life's biggest lesson: If it bleeds, we can kill it.

-- Listening to every AC/DC album would take over 11 hours out of your day as well. If you can spend 30 minutes a day on the toilet, you can spend an hour listening to "Back in Black."
