According to researchers, the aroma that comes from a freshly mowed lawn relieves stress and improves memory.Neuroscientist Dr. Nick Lavidis believes that the chemicals created when greenery is cut bolster the brain against the kind of bad stress that leads to higher blood pressure, a weakened immune system and forgetfulness.
So convinced is Lavidis that he's spent the last seven years creating a feel-good spray that replicates these aromas, and will soon be available in stores.
Of course, instead of spending six bucks on Lavidis's concoction you could just mow your lawn. Or, better yet, get the neighbor kid to do it.
