Food tastes better when it's free, and Taco Bell grub is no different. So naturally, the Asylum team was thrilled to discover @TacoBellTruck
on Twitter. The truck has been touring the U.S. all summer, showing up at Twitter followers' requests and feeding them the guilty pleasure fast food of the gods (gratis!).
If you @reply, they will come -- so we did. And now that they're on the East Coast branch of their journey, the Taco Bell Truck is being kind enough to serve free Volcano and Crunchy Tacos to Asylum, the AOL team and the general public. New York readers should plan on stopping by Asylum's 'hood for lunch this Thursday, September 3.
Come to Asylum's neighborhood at Astor Place in Manhattan for lunch and goodies on Thursday. We'll be camped out by the giant purple Taco Bell Truck from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., giving out smiles, free tacos and T-shirts, accompanied by the AOL Running Man
and mobs of taco lovers. RSVP here
, or just show up on 8th Street between Broadway and 4th Avenue. And spread the word!
If you're not in New York, follow @TacoBellTruck's progress on Twitter -- send a message, it may come feed you, too.
