That's the World Wildlife Fund, in case you were confused by the headline. Even the Iron Sheik had more sensitivity than this.
A WWF print ad featuring hundreds of planes flying toward the World Trade Center was leaked online Tuesday, prompting a swift denial from the conservation group. They immediately claimed that the image was from a rejected spec ad that they had nothing to do with.
On Wednesday, however, Ad Age reported that the ad was approved by WWF Brazil, and ran once in a local paper before being pulled by Sergio Valente, President of DDB Brasil, the ad agency that produced the spot.
A video version of this ad, which DDB claimed they did not produce, has now been yanked from YouTube due to copyright claims by ... DDB Brasil. Curious. Luckily, the video is still available from Creativity Online.

I don't think it was that bad. It made its point right? I don't think the WWF should be ashamed of that ad at all in fact I think it should air.

What point was that? That mother nature is a terrorist? How is flying an airplane into a building like a tsunami?
