After just a few minutes of interaction with an attractive female, a male's cognitive abilities suffer.

Dutch researchers had male students perform a test involving memorizing strings of letters. Then the students spent seven minutes talking to a male or female, before taking another memory test. There was no difference in the scores when they had spoken to a guy, but their scores declined when they had talked to a woman, and did so in accordance with how attractive they rated her.

The researchers repeated this test with female students and found their scores stayed the same no matter whom they spoke to.

We understand that further research was planned for this study, but it was quickly abandoned after researchers became sidetracked by the sexy female participants.
