Considering "South Park"'s continued popularity and cultural relevance, it's a shame the show has never inspired a decent game. (The less said about "Chef's Luv Shack" the better.) That hasn't stopped RealArcade from stepping up with the new downloadable "South Park Mega Millionaire."

"Mega Millionaire" inexplicably finds the boys on a crazy Japanese game show, roller-skating their way through obstacles and battling sumo wrestlers. The roller skates make for some frustration in the early levels as you try to avoid falling into water hazards and getting a "wet failure." (The stereotypical pidgin English is the only aspect of the game that remotely captures "South Park"'s offensive humor.) Later levels prove more innovative, with challenges like serving tea and avoiding killer fish with a turtle on your head.

The designers succeed on the animation end, ably translating the show's simple style into game form. "Mega Millionaire" does lack the show's edgy humor, but it ends up being a good time-wasting alternative to Twittering about what you had for lunch. And unlike "Chef's Luv Shack," the game doesn't defile the memory of the late, great Isaac Hayes.
