If you are lucky enough to hang out with globe collectors -- lucky, because globe collecting is solely the domain of the idle rich -- then One World Globes may not amaze you. To the rest of us, a vintage-style globe that crack opens to reveal a bar is truly something that can inspire hopes of one day becoming a classy boozehound. The Marble Leg Bar is a reproduction of a 17th-century globe, so expect cool details like sea monsters in the Atlantic. It holds at least four wine bottles and 12 glasses, and you'll have to assemble it on your own. Despite the Ikea DIY vibe, the price is a stiff $1,525.
According to the Web site, the globe should not be used for reference. This means if you want to travel the world on a sailboat you might want to invest in some GPS. Sadly, this also means the sea monster has probably moved on from where it was originally pictured.

My world globe bar might not be made of marble, but for $140 on eBay (including shipping) I was able to get the same model that's in SkyMall... and it rocks!
