88-year-old Biago Sciscione is hardcore. The WWII veteran was recently the victim of an attempted robbery and decided -- despite being in a wheelchair (and occasionally using a cane) -- to knock some heads rather than let thieves make off with his property. The four thieves entered the man's house, and while one of them tried to distract Sciscione, the other three sneaked out carrying Sciscione's safe. Sciscione spotted them through the window and, in a move that probably surprised everyone, ran to the door to confront them.
"The guy pushed me; I gave him a sock ... a good sock, and he stood there and looked at me," said Sciscione, which we have to admit is kind of awesome. Even more so, Sciscione's wife says his physical violence was accompanied by some healthy taunting of the thwarted thieves.
"He was messing around with them," Maria Sciscione said.
That sock must have been something, because they dropped his safe and ran off, possibly afraid of how they'd get mocked in prison if word got out than an 88-year-old man beat the crap out of them.

Watch the old guy protecting his stuff and his life get sued by these creeps and watch a retarded judge and jury go along with it. = American Justice down the toilet.

I'd have preferred he capped their asses with a .357 but then his wife would have to find a way to visit him in jail. Too bad. He should get a medal.

Good for him. If this unfortunately should happen again, he can use his cane to beat the shit out of the punks. Hopefully, it won't happen again.

Pretty cool. Whats even sadder is what may have been in the safe? Marriage, birth, death certificate, social security papers, will, etc. Things important, but valueless to the thieves... ...I do wonder how they knew where the safe was.

Way to go vet, 88 may be up in age but its from a different era when being an american meant you walked tall and was proud of your country. He should have put a real hurting on them though, but like someone said, these days a jury would have awarded the damn thieves everything he had.
