There is a video circulating right now in which a guy tosses a basketball from the third deck of an 82,000-seat football stadium down to the playing field and right into the hoop.
Fake, right? Any Web-savvy person would come to that conclusion before even watching the tape. But so far the latest exploit of "Dude Perfect," a collective of six Texas A&M students who film themselves making amazing basketball shots, has baffled video experts, who can find no evidence of edits. This isn't the first time "Dude Perfect" has achieved notoriety. Earlier this year their trick-shot-making skills were featured on "Good Morning America."
The stadium shot alone has now garnered over two million YouTube views, which will benefit the children, as the collective has promised to sponsor a child through the charity Compassion International for each 100,000 views they get.
Kind of makes you want to believe it's real even more. But is it? Check out the shot from multiple angles and vote.

no way, that ball is so far off, there must be killer wind or crazy spin. his throw isnt even on course from the beginning. from both angles u can see that ball do a crazy mid-air path change... yeh, he made it thru the hoop... but i dont buy it.

Unless an Aggie says it is a joke(and we love to joke about ourselves), it must be true as Aggies:
Don't Lie, Cheat or Steal nor tolerate those who do!

If you pause it on the ball's way down, you can see that the trajectory is taking it to the right of the hoop. The ball curves mid-air, so either there was a strong wind, or it was faked.

At the 10 second mark the ball disappears from the screen and never shows up again. Why di it not bounce up after going thru hoops? Hoop didnot move after being hit with that much force! Nice editing tho. FAKE

To all those crying "FAKE!", do you really think that a group who is donating to charity would be faking the shots? I could see if they were making profit, but they aren't. And yeah, I'm so sure that you can see where the shot is faked. After all, it's not like they didn't have experts check all the videos-OH WAIT THEY DID.

actually the shot isnt that long most of the distance is due to the fact that it's downhill.Im sure a geometry teacher could easily estimate the distance he had to throw the ball before gravity took over.I mean one could drop a ball from a balloon a mile high and make a basket
