
He may be best known for his stewardship of the "Spider Man" franchise, but director Sam Raimi's first love is the horror genre, which he returned to earlier this year with scream-fest "Drag Me to Hell."
According to our friends at FilmDrunk, he isn't stopping there, as Raimi's production company has just purchased a screenplay about a Yeti that terrorizes a remote town.
While we have full confidence in Raimi's ability to make a Yeti scarier then say, the Green Goblin, it's going to take some chops to make a mythical creature that is often compared to an abominable snowman or a polar bear terrifying enough to sustain a film.

The xenomorphs from Aliens. They basically rape you in the face, lay their eggs in your stomach and then the creature bursts out of your chest, ensuring painful death. Hello, nightmares.
