Any guy who's shared a bed with a lady knows men aren't from Mars. Women might be from Venus, but men are from some planet that's way hotter than Mars. Or Venus. Like the sun (if it were a planet). To deal with this temp disparity, the company Dormia decided to put out a whole line of mattresses using Cool Sleep. This bed tech is actually supposed to regulate the heat of the bed, keeping someone who's hot cooler but without robbing heat from the person who's wearing socks in July. In other words, men won't end up drenched in sweat, while women will stay cozy. The big question: Is it worth $1,200?
Dormia and other modern bed makers have been getting a lot of press lately, including a scintillating Wall Street Journal article about mattress tech for men. We'd like to point out that we totally scooped the WSJ on the trend of awesome man-beds by about a year-and-a-half (but we aren't counting). We'll take that Pulitzer anytime.
