A 10-foot-tall Clydesdale in Tupperville, Ontario, is the tallest in the world, according to his owner, Shereen Thompson, who wants the Guinness Book of World Records to recognize it.

Poe the Clydesdale, who weighs 3,000 lbs. and stands at 80.8 inches from hoof to back, just beats the current record holder, Remington, who is a laughable 80 inches tall.

"We want to get the Guinness guys here as soon as possible," Thompson said. "We have known for a while that he could be the tallest horse in the world, we just need to get the official documents that the people in London want to see."

The giant horse eats 10 pounds of grain and drinks 75 gallons of water per day. A former workhorse, Poe now travels around to fairs to entertain onlookers.

"He is extremely popular, but his size always means people keep a cautious distance from him -- although they shouldn't, as he is a real puppy," Thompson said.

If Clydesdales really could play football, a la the Budweiser commercial, we'd want Poe on our team.
