You might have heard that New York City is expensive, which is like saying there's a couple of tourists at Times Square on New Year's Eve.

Oyster, a hotel Web site review service that likes to tell it like it is, investigated minibar prices at four NYC hotels. Some of the highlights include $10 water bottles, which is even more expensive than a case of Natty Light, and $14 gummy bears, which can only make sense to stoned Trustifarians.

The only package we think is worthwhile is the $195 "travel couples pleasure kit," which includes a vibrator, handcuffs, condoms and lube. We imagine that if you packed those items yourself it would be cheaper, but who wants to get asked to unload those cuffs for airport security?
