"Astro Boy" fans will want to pick up "The Art of Osamu Tezuka: God of Manga," a tribute to the artist who has been called the Walt Disney of Japan. Seriously, "Astro Boy" stories are insane. He has a machine gun in his butt, for crying out loud. Also in stores this week:
-- "How to Survive the End of the World As We Know It: Tactics, Techniques, and Technologies for Uncertain Times" seems like perfect light reading for a crisp fall evening.
-- "Her Fearful Symmetry" is a ghost story from the author of "The Time Traveler's Wife." So, high-concept and weepy.
-- "A Touch of Dead" collects the complete Sookie Stackhouse stories from the series that inspired "True Blood." It's just like the TV show, but with less gratuitous nudity and over-the-top Southern accents.

Ah this story reminds me how angry I am that Disney has from what I've seen so far ruined "Astro Boy". I mean do they really need to Americanize everything?
