You might have seen the cool Acer notebooks (or netbook as these little suckers are sometimes called), because if you've been at a laptop-filled coffee shop, it's the laptop that would be dwarfed by your Venti latte. Just in time for the holidays, Acer will release the Aspire One, which lets you run two operating systems: both Windows XP and Android. Android, if you haven't heard of it, is the new OS that's been built by Google for a variety of smartphones.

Why do you need two operating systems? Simple: You can do lots of cool experimental, tricked-out things with Android, but you can switch back to things that only work on Windows, like viruses.

The new Aspire has a 10-inch screen, and will run for about $350. [via Gizmodo]
