ESPN does so many things wrong -- bombarding viewers with meaningless graphics and self-referential chatter; prioritizing promotion of their barely bearable "personalities" over the sports stories they pretend to be covering; employing Chris Berman -- that it's vital to point out when they get something right. Firing the intolerable wiener-photo-forwarder, Sean Salisbury, was a step in the right direction, and convincing Serena Williams to go the full monty for the cover of their body issue has earned them a few more Asylum bucks. (Redeemable for valuable prizes!)
The cover is playful and sexy without shying away from the fact that Serena's a physical marvel. The athletic body is a wonderful thing to behold, and we can't wait to behold the rest of the jocks -- like MMA fighter Gina Carano and pro surfer Claire Bevilacqua -- who took it all (or at least most of it) off for this highly anticipated issue.

Serena Williams, is like Jane Mansfield and Marilyn Monroe and others who have beauty and money and bad ways they died. They didn't care what people thought. Everyone who Loves GOD respects themselves. If GOD wanted us to exploit our bodies in public, it wouldn't be called sinful and there wouldn't have been shame in The Garden of Eden by the FIRST two People GOD made. Do you think GOD hurts when he sees us pubically in the nude? Serena, and others like her, obviously don't believe in a Higher Power than her body or bank account or she would respect herself. Ever since Biblical times man and woman has disrespected themselves phycially through nudity, thereby disrespecting GODS' Laws. We haven't learned yet from others who did the same thing and perished misserably. We will pay for our wrong. Stop doing what you want because you have money. When we pay it will not be in cash. Look at Jane Mansfield and Marilyn Monroes Deaths. They didn't pay in cash for their wrong. You are too pretty to be ignorant. In other words you don't look the role you're playing.

You know something Sashs Jean...It gets really tiresome seeing comments from narrow minded and sanctimonious little people like you. You always bring your God into every discussion as though that will make your confused thinking correct and beyond question. I couldn't care less if both of the Williams woman pose in the natural, it is their life and they certainly earned the right to do what they want. If thy eye offends thee, do not look!!Also,As this is a public forum, may I suggest you keep your religious beliefs to yourself! Your statement is completely without merit. First,if your God feels the human body to be so sinful why does he continually make it without hair and clothes? Humans were as hirsute as apes in the beginning and your God removed it over the eons.(Maybe God has an eye for the babes and enjoys what he/she creates and like an artist enjoys looking at what he hath brought forth.)Clothing which has always been optional was developed by humans as protection from heat and cold not some barrier to sin as do the fruitcakes who interpret clothes as a godly thing. You mention MM and Jayne Mansfield...what about all of the other hundreds of men and woman who are models who live to a ripe old age? "Modesty" is an ugly fat/woman made concept because God creates us without clothes and will receive us back "home" without clothes.Yes? What will you do when you find yourself standing bareassed before St. Peter??

Why, because you're a prude who allowed society to make you think the human body is something to abhor ?

Serena looks amazing....the photograph is Art! If it was up to Sashs Jean, Michelangelo's "David" would not be "pubically" displayed but covered head to toe. The irony of the incorrect spelling made the comment somewhat entertaining...somewhat!

Gimme a break! Serena looks like an ugly muscled transvestite in person and ESPN has the audacity to try to fool us with a photo that looks nothing like her. Try again!!!!
