Required viewing from the week in movies.

Chris Rock is behind the documentary "Good Hair," which takes a look at the history of African-American hairstyles. Comedian Paul Mooney (of "Ask a Black Guy" fame) is among the doc's talking heads. Paul Mooney makes everything great.

Also in theaters this week:

-- Carey Mulligan is already getting Oscar buzz for her role in "An Education," which means she's probably signing on for some terrible Hollywood action movie as we speak.
-- "Bronson" is based on the true story of the U.K.'s most violent prisoner, sadly not the life of Pierce Brosnan. Someone must tell the "Remington Steele" story.
-- Considering that "Couples Retreat" has rating around 10 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, it's safe to say the days of Vince Vaughn playing Vince Vaughn in every other movie are officially over. Before that happens, check out the cast of "Couples Retreat" chatting with Asylum about how geeky they are.
-- "Free Style" looks like something straight out of 1988, from its earnest motocross racing story to its flash-in-the-pan "High School Musical"-star lead. Oh, and Penelope Ann Miller is in it.
