There are two reasons people watch "Mythbusters." The first is Kari Byron. The second is simply because they do some pretty cool experiments on the show. Like ones involving duct tape.

As you might expect, if the Mythbusters are doing something with duct tape, it's going to be pretty extreme, and they don't disappoint, especially when it comes to making duct tape sails for a boat and using a sling made from the tape lift a 5,000-lb. car.

The Mythbusters are, of course, following in a long, noble tradition of using duct tape to do just about any conceivable task. Keep reading to watch a clip from the Mythbusters' duct tape hour, airing tonight at 9 p.m. EST on the Discovery Channel.
