Back in the day, a movie with two male characters who maintain a close friendship throughout a series of trials and tribulations was called a buddy movie, and it usually involved all sorts of ass-kicking and name-taking.
In the current cinema, such a film would be slapped with the dodgier label of bromance, and the leads would be more likely to discuss their feelings and most recent humiliations.
Our friends at FilmDrunk are reporting the latest entry into the bromance genre will be a film called "We Love You," which was written by Alan Yang, who's scripted South Park episodes, and will be about two best friends who discover they are dating the same girl.
Which leads to our question. We've selected five of our favorite movie bromances, but that's just scratching the surface. So let us know in the comments what film most makes you most want to reach out and give your closest buddy a tender man-hug.

Hi there,
The word "bromance" made me crack up! Did you guys come up with that word yourselves? =) Ahh...that is really funny, hee hee. Are you single again? Hmm...unfortunately most of my friends are married, no, that's not true. I have some friends who are single, one is a twin, they could be lesbians though. Their cousin is not though. She's very amusing.
