If you can get past the hipster Hot Topic-ization of a beloved childhood classic, "Where the Wild Things Are" is actually a pretty great movie. Can't wait for Michael Bay's "In the Night Kitchen: The Reckoning." Also in theaters:
-- The blaxploitation spoof "Black Dynamite" has easily some of the funniest viral material of the year. You've been served, "Funny People."
-- How did "Law Abiding Citizen," a Jamie Foxx/Gerard Butler revenge drama from the director of "The Negotiator," slip entirely under the radar? It can't be any worse than "Gamer."
-- Skip the new "Stepfather," and rent the original to see Locke from "Lost" going crazy in hilariously '80s fashion.
