It's an historic time in the world of technology -- Apple has just announced the first official porn star applications for the iPhone. One of the two approved apps features Sunny Leone, who recently graced us with her insanely hot presence at the Asylum offices.

"We obviously wanted to make [the iPhone app] a little more racy, but with Apple's regulations, they would've only allowed the NC-17-ish photos that were included already." But this way, Leone adds, "It'll probably get to a larger demographic of people who are already my fans. "

Not to worry, Sunny Leone 1.0, now available from the Download Store, is merely the first step in her world takeover plan. "I have other stuff that I'm doing with My Sexy Mobile, which has a wide variety of everything from non-nude to completely nude, so I don't have an exclusive deal with anybody." Does that mean the 2003 Penthouse Pet of the Year will soon be gracing us with the first-ever nekkid porn star iPhone app, as soon as Apple allows it? A boy can drool, of course.

Leone's Asylum photo shoot (and the accompanying video) still has us drooling ...

How did this app come about? Did T3 reach out to you or did the idea start with you?

"The company I partnered with to run my official website own a company called Grindhouse Media and because I'm the only solo girl they work with, I was their first tester. And we've been working on this for months and months, trying to get the application just right."

    Ben Trivett, Asylum

I notice you have Glamour Pics and Personal Pics-- what's the difference? Aren't you always glamorous?

"Glamour photos would be the ones you would see in Maxim, maybe softer than that... and the personal pics are, for example, I was at the race track today and we took a bunch of photos and we'll end up putting those in the iPhone app... stuff like me having dinner with my girlfriends..."

    Ben Trivett, Asylum

"...Sunny's Road Trip is not as soft as the application, but it's a site that we've developed that shows what I've been doing across the country because I'm on the road almost every week."

You don't have any nude images on this app-- is that because Apple wouldn't let you?

"We obviously wanted to make it a little more racy, but with Apple's regulations, they would've only allowed the NC-17-ish photos that are on there already. But this way, it'll probably get to a larger demographic of people who are already my fans."

If someone approached you to do an app for another store that allowed nudity, would you consider doing that?

"I have other stuff that I'm doing with Mobile-- My Sex Mobile-- that has a wide variety of everything from non-nude to completely nude, so I don't have an exclusive deal with anybody. But having the iPhone app is extraordinary because it's the first one in the adult industry that's been released."

    Ben Trivett, Asylum

If you were going to pitch this to somebody, how would you sell them on it?

"For somebody who's my fan already, this gives them the ability to have me on their phone at all times..."

    Ben Trivett, Asylum

"...We're always going to have new photos, we're upgrading it all the time, with another version out in two weeks, I have my own personal blog on there... so it's all very interactive."

    Ben Trivett, Asylum

With that kind of full coverage of your life, are you worried someone's going to be completely obsessed with you?

[Laughs] "I've been in the industry since 2001... and most of my fans and most of the people I've met have been really respectful... I'm knocking on wood right now, but I haven't had any stalkers..."

    Ben Trivett, Asylum

"...Most of the time, people want that thirty seconds of you giving them their undivided attention, of having a pretty girl talk to them."
