Florida's rather pedestrian 23-20 win at home against Arkansas Saturday cost the Gators the number one spot in the AP poll. As our friends at With Leather are reporting, it also marked yet another OK -- but nothing approaching Heisman-worthy -- performance for Florida's legend-in-his-own-time QB, Tim Tebow.
Sure, the great one has an excuse, a mind-numbing concussion he suffered just a few weeks ago. But the more one watches Tebow stiffly thrust himself into the opposing defensive line for three yard gains, as he has done his whole career, the more one realizes that it's probably Florida's extraordinary athletic advantage at every position besides quarterback which has fueled their success over the past four seasons.
While that doesn't necessarily negate all of Tebow's "intangibles" (and all the fabulous work he does with lepers), it does suggest they shouldn't be the story of the college football season. But once sportswriters and sportscasters fall in love, they fall hard. And Tim Tebow isn't the only athlete they just can't quit.

Tom Brady. No other athlete is as heavily covered as him. Even when he loses everyone has him on the cover. The fact that you do not include him in your survey proves that you love him too much to say something negative about him. You all make me sick.

The all-time, all-dick sucking fest, all-unbelievably ridiculous man crush ever has to go to Micheal Jordan. The guy is a complete prick and no one even notices! It's insane! Someone this unlikeable, to be praised as much as he is, blows my mind.

I too have to go with Jordan. That guy is a serious douche, but but gets blown by every journalist and fan the world over. Sickening.
