The response to our recent exposés on what brings men to tears showed us that our readers are definitely in touch with their sensitive, Sarah McLachlan-loving sides. (We know you get misty-eyed during her animal-cruelty ad.)

Reader Dave shared a harrowing tale of his nasty bout with shingles: "I can remember being so frustrated after a couple of nights not sleeping, and in constant throbbing pain that tears began to trickle out of my eyes. Shingles is no joke."
