Answering the age-old question, "Are those 14 pythons in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" Norwegian customs officials arrested a man for attempting to smuggle more than a dozen snakes and 10 lizards into the country by taping them to his body. The 22-year-old man was stopped by agents during a routine check on an arriving ferry from Denmark. Officials became suspicious upon finding a live tarantula in his bag and decided to do a full body inspection, where they found 14 socks taped around his torso, each containing a small python.
Helge Breilid, a manager at the customs office, said that officers were "horrified" by the discovery. "Customs officers quickly realized the man was smuggling animals, because his whole body was in constant motion," he said.
When the guy took off his pants, officers found 10 albino geckos inside 10 cans taped to his legs. The smuggler has since been jailed and ordered to pay a 12,500 Norwegian crown fine.
The reptiles, meanwhile, have been handed over to a Norwegian security firm until they find an appropriate weirdo in a black trench coat who'll take them.

Weirdest news of the week right there! I wonder how much money he would make off of some snakes and lizards; it couldn't be too much.
