Required listening from the week in music. All '90s alt-rock edition!
"Raditude" finds Weezer gradually entering Presidents of the United States of America territory ('90s reference!) with their increasingly poppy sound. If nothing else, their Snuggie ad is fairly amusing. Also in stores this week:
-- Relive one of Nirvana's greatest moments with the new CD/DVD of "Live at Reading." No more bartering with creepy fans for rare bootlegs. And for more of Cobain and the gang, check out the 20th anniversary edition of "Bleach."
-- Dig into Morrissey's vast B-side catalog with "Swords." Guy throws away more good songs than most bands write in their entire career.
-- Now that Foo Fighters have a "Greatest Hits" album, should they be considered classic rock?
