When a group of guys gets together and decide to stop shaving it usually means they are on some sort of sports team, poised to make a title run. When Jason Sucharski, Chris Sucharski and Paul Jorgenson ditched their razors on July 25, it was for a much more serious cause. It was the day after Jason's son, Chase Walker, was born premature, with underdeveloped lungs and a weak heart. Also, like many preemies, Chase had lanugo -- a fine hair that covers the face and body. Hence, the solidarity beards.
Chris, Jason's younger brother, didn't even think he could grow a beard, but as the weeks turned into months his facial hair become so thick his co-workers started calling him "Grizzly Adams." For Jorgenson, who has been good friends with Chris since high school, his lush cheek-warmer dictated that he dress up as Paul Bunyan for Halloween.
It was just a few days after Halloween that little Chase was released from the hospital, his heart and lungs on the mend, and his lanugo cleared up. So the trio was finally able reacquaint themselves with the hot lather and the blade, in what was surely a huge relief on all sorts of levels.

I think it was wonderful that the guys found a way to take their minds off the health problems of the baby. But I find beards sexy, I keep asking my husband to grow his back. I am glad to hear that the baby is doing well and is home with her family. I hope that she has a long and happy life.

Good luck with the baby. He'll be fine because I was also a premature baby with only 27weeks, the doctors thought that I will die at the first week. But here I am after 40 years still kicking and enjoying life.
The parents just have to take care of the baby for at least the first five years that are very important.
About that stupid comment from menstruatorth ??? budy you have some loose screws, hope we never cross paths in life or I'll fix those loose screws with a good fight!!

Look at some of the greatest men in history who have had beards.
Do you think that other countries would mess with us if our presidents looked like King Leonidas? No but when you have some skinny clean shaven president that is always smiling you are not going to intimidate anyone.Obama should work out and put on some weight grow a kimbo slice looking beard. Today's culture programs us to see beards as "dirty" and that only white skinny model chicks and clean shaved men are good looking.

My grandson was born 3 months early. He has medical problems, he is a blessing to our family. My daughter had problems and lost 2 babies, when my grandson was born we were very blessed. Oh, my daughter and her husband named him "Chase", he is 8 years old. You baby and your family will be in our prayers.

My son was a preemie, covered in soft downy hair like peach fuzz, my sisters called him Howard the duck. He was always small, but he is fine now. Best wishes.

My husband and his father did the same thing for our preemie daughter. They grew beards until she came home.

I am so glad little Chase is going to be okay. sweet baby. God healed this baby boy. I hope the parents know this and give God thanks.
As for the person who wrote such awful things, you are just looking for attention by saying hateful things. Be very careful of what you say, God hears all, and you will have to account for these remarks.

You have got to be a troll, right? You can't possibly be serious, and if you are, you need some big time therapy sessions. I find it wonderful and amazing that men will do whatever they can do, to show their support for whatever the cause may be. Your attitude is pitiful, bitter and offensive. I hope that you get the help that you need.

TROLL ALERT! TROLL ALERT!
This he-she is just trying to get you guys upset. Alas, they are victorious. In fact, they are even happier that I'm replying to them because that means that I'm paying attention to them. Trolls like...no...trolls LOVE being yelled at and starting arguments. They're cyber punks that don't get out much and are so bored with their boring lives that they go to various websites and blogs and such to write crazy, outrageous things to cause reactions.
Stupid troll. Get some friends.
