Our friends at FilmDrunk have the latest trailer for "Despicable Me," which is slated for summer 2010 release. The computer-animated film has a Spy vs. Spy vibe and features the voice of Steve Carell, among other members of the Apatow Crew, as well as critical darlings Will Arnett and Kristen Wiig.
With the price of making and marketing a 3D-animated film usually running well over $100 million, it's no surprise these "kids" movies also try to hook parents in with interesting plots, clever one-liners (which are often well above the typical 8-year old's head) and recognizable voice talent.
In fact, you don't even have to be looking for something to do with the rugrats on a Saturday afternoon to appreciate the best of what Pixar, Dreamworks and the like have to offer. Tell us about any 3D-animation effort that brought out your adult child (but we neglected to select for our poll) in the comments.

I love how all but one are Pixar films. All are great films for adults and kids (Pixar and Dreamworks always make sure to throw in a few underlying jokes for the older ones). Toy Story is my choice.
