Required viewing from the week in movies.

"The Men Who Stare at Goats" finds George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Spacey in a quirky war comedy about soldiers who utilize psychic abilities. Great cast and all, but we just can't see ourselves going, "Two for 'The Men Who Stare at Goats' please."

Also opening this week:

-- We had high hopes for "The Box," a "Twilight Zone"-esque thriller from director Richard Kelly ("Donnie Darko"), yet it has zero buzz. But hey, Cameron Diaz's hair sure looks '70s!
-- If you buy tickets for "Precious: Based on the Novel Push By Sapphire" you must, must say the full title.
-- When will Robert Zemeckis stop with the creepy motion-capture animation used in "A Christmas Carol"? Has no one told him about the "uncanny valley"?
