Saturday night's Strikeforce fight of Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brett Rogers turned out to be much more of a battle than anyone expected, even though it only lasted two rounds. Fedor decommissioned Rogers with a right hook, sending Chicago's finest to the canvas with limp legs. But the Russian bull's victory didn't come without a quite a bit of ante.
Rogers spent much of the first round proving the unstoppable MMA champ fallible (his nose, at least). Fedor may have walked away with a victory, but he also got a broken nose and a soft cast on his left arm.
Let's just say Asylum editor Brian Childs (pictured here) looked a whole lot better in his Asylum T-shirt than Fedor did after two rounds with Rogers.
We want to thank our friends at Joonbug Productions and Union Bar for putting the fight on the big screen, making for a great night.
