We like to think we're pretty hard to amaze. But this amazed us. An inebriated woman is spotted by surveillance videos at North Station subway in Boston. Falling onto the train tracks, fellow passengers waiting on the platform desperately signal an approaching train to stop before it runs over her.
Police said the front end of the train was actually hanging over the woman. "How she did not get hit or hit the third rail is amazing, and we're very thankful that the passengers were able to stop that train," an investigator said. The track's third rail carries 600 volts of electricity.
