With those clumsy, slapstick tails and goofy faces, beavers probably get their fair share of bullying in the animal kingdom. No surprise then that they sometimes hit back. This wood nibbler sent out a message to would-be browbeaters on live TV, by spraying an "Early Show" host with a brisk blast of beaver pee.
Barry (we'll call him Barry) begins urinating on the table during an appearance on CBS. His handler did not look disturbed and even boldly claimed, "This is a beautiful thing," telling the anchors that the animal was just marking his territory.
Correspondent Debbye Turner Bell obviously didn't quite see the beauty and went to get something to clean it up. Cue our Barry to finish what he started.

I don't know, I could be wrong but as I watched that clip of the beaver SUPPOSEDLY marking the host as his "territory", I couldn't help but notice a few things....1. The beaver's tail did not rise up when he allegedly sprayed the host. 2. The host was BEHIND the man holding the beaver. Now, maybe I'm just being a bit skeptical, but from a physics stand point, there is little chance that from her position behind and to the side of the beaver, who was contained by its "trainer", there just is no way that beaver "shot" the host! 3. If you were peed on by an animal, especially for a woman, wouldn't you react just a little more realistically? The host seemed too calm about it. And if it really did hit her in the eye, as she claimed, then why did she just casually wipe the area below her eye?
I'm not buying it, folks. It's a publicity stunt. Unfortunately, the host did not make it even look believable.
